Bristol Airport 21/10/10

An exteneded lunch break gave the opertunity to pop in to BRS, weather very changeable, runway 27 in use.

Firstly EI-DPY Ryanair 737-800 on taxiway G, having just landed on 27.

Then EI-DWB.

A quick dash around the other side - EasyJet A319 G-EZDS arriving.

Skybus Twin Otter G-BIHO heading back down to IOS.

Followed by F-GPOD ATR-72 of Air France to Paris.

Plain white BMi Embraer E-145 G-EMBI to Brussels against the ever darkening sky.

Followed by Aurigny ATR-72 G-COBO.

And Ryanair 737-800 EI-DCS - the second Ryanair of the day with Costa Brava titles. And then the rain came - reducing the visibility from 5+ miles to 1 at best. could just make out Flybe Dash 8-400 G-ECOE through the rain.
And finally EasyJet A319 G-EZAD clearing the runway as it blasts off. Possibly the best conditions for a great image - sun and spray.

6 October 2010

Bristol Airport 25/9/10

An airport pick up is always a good excuse to get some shots! Especially with an Onur Air due. Runway 27 in use, and the sun getting lower by the minute.

First off was EasyJet A319 G-EZBF blasting off into the evening sun.
Followed by my personal favorite Onur Air A321 TC-OAL, complete with black smoke from the engines on approach.
G-EZIE EasyJet A319 blasting past the taxiing Onur.
Followed by a series of Ryanair 737-800's, firstly EI-DYF with Costa Bravo logo
Then EI-EKM departing

And EI-DYL

The last departure for this trip was BH Air (Balkan Holidays) A320 LZ-BHD
The sun setting on another spotting trip, BH Air disappearing into the distance.

19 September 2010

My Garden 18/9/10

With the Filton Friends and Family day as well as Kemble Battle of Britain hopes of some action paid off.

Vulcan passed on way to Filton heading north to south, seen from a distance, but there no mistaking the shape.

A380 F-WWDD passed directly overhead but just in the low cloud on the way to fly past at Kemble, 30 minutes later returning a few miles south of the house

Later on a Vampire, then a VC-10 very low straight over my head - but no chance to grab the camera.
